Level Differential Pressure Transmitter

Differential Pressure Transmitter

The DP Transmitter, most widely employed device for the purpose of level detection, is used to measure level as an inferential measurement, utilizing a technique which makes use of a differential pressure detector which is installed at the bottom of the tank whose level is to be detected. Advantages to the DP transmitter include, but are not limited to - cost efficiency, good accuracy over broad level measurement ranges, motion balance, and force balance.

Endress + Hauser has a couple different variations of their Deltabar differential pressure (DP) product featuring a piezoresistive sensor and welded metallic membrane, typically used in process or environmental applications for continuous measurement of pressure differences in liquids, vapors and gases. The SOR differential pressure (DP) transmitters continuously measure the difference in process pressure and deliver a signal in a multitude of industry standard outputs. The world class accuracy of the SOR DP transmitters allows operators to tighten their process control to improve operational performance, work more efficiently, and lower maintenance costs. Website
